Your wedding day is the day you attempt to express the inexpressible - the depth of your love and joy. Let us fill the air with music in celebration!

Everyone is unique and every wedding should be unique as well. In order for you to have the music you want, I need to get to know you. I will meet with you on the phone to discuss your musical tastes, what you like and what you don't like. I can play music selections for you or I can send you an example of music for you to choose from.

 

It is important for you to be happy with the music so be sure and put some thought into the mood you are trying to set. This is a very special day and you want to create a very special memory. 

Ruben has performed at many weddings as a solo violinist

however, the violin  may be complemented by the guitar or piano or both. Ruben can put any size group together to suit the occasion.

For your Cocktail Hour you may want a duo consisting of a violin and guitar or a trio with violin, guitar and Latin percussion. Music selections can range from Latin fusion, pop and jazz.

Your wedding is going to be one of the most memorable events of your life and you want it to be perfect! Naturally, you have questions. Here are answers to some of the questions couples often ask.

Is music usually played before the ceremony?

You should plan on 15-20 minutes of music before the ceremony begins. Music can begin when guests start arriving. The music gets your guests ready for the main event!

How do I choose appropriate music for the ceremony?

Some couples have special songs they would like during the ceremony. We can provide your choice of music and arrange it for violin and guitar, violin and piano or other combinations. The violin sounds very much like the human voice. Before the wedding we will talk via phone and I can play your selections and some of my favorites so you can choose your songs for each part of the wedding.

I’ll be having a receiving line, is music usually played during this time?

It’s personal preference. You may want upbeat melodies or peaceful sounds. You can arrange with our musicians to play during the receiving line.

I’d like music during the cocktail hour and reception. What kind of music should I have?

Many people like classical and popular music for the cocktail hour. You can contract with our musicians to play during the cocktail hour. Ruben usually suggests a duo or trio for the cocktail hour.
